(2012-07-23) Pictures Temporarily Not Available On my Blog

As you may know, about a year ago I migrated my complete blog from DirTeam to WordPress. I thought I had migrated everything. Think again! Today I found out all the blog posts posted prior to the migration that contained pictures did not show any pictures anymore. After some troubleshooting I was told by a customer of mine he saw the following error:

This error is generated by the blog engine on DirTeam. Apparently all the pictures on my new blog were pointing to the picture gallery of my old blog, which I did not know about. I really thought everything was migrated. Well, whatever. The admin of the server hosting my old blog was so kind to disable the picture gallery of my blog and remove my admin rights of my own blog, without any notice. Thank you for that!

In time I will restore all the missing pictures on my new blog (backups, baby, backups!).
